Canventa Life Sciences is an appointment-only paid blood donation center. We do not accept walk-ins, and for safety reasons, no minors or animals are allowed in the clinic.

Schedule your blood donor screening appointment to learn how you can help advance medical research and receive compensation for your time. By donating blood at our Mansfield, MA clinic, you’ll help provide scientists with high-quality samples that support the development of new therapies for cancer, autoimmune disorders, and other diseases.

Please note: The Initial Donor Screening appointment is required to join our Paid Blood Donor Program. This visit includes a brief blood collection for laboratory testing, and results are typically available within one week. You may schedule your first donation once your screening results are complete.

Eligibility

To become a donor in our program, you will need to:

  • Be between 18 and 55 years old
  • Weigh at least 140 lbs and have a BMI less than 40. You may calculate your BMI here.
  • Be in excellent health and have no history of underlying health conditions such as:
    • Autoimmune diseases such as eczema or MS.
    • Have a history of seizure disorder
    • Thyroid issues
    • High blood pressure
    • High cholesterol
    • Currently pregnant or pregnant in the past 6 months
    • Cancer
    • Diabetes (Type 1 or 2)
    • Heart, lung, kidney, or liver problems
    • Hepatitis B or C or HIV, or currently taking PrEP 
  • Be a US citizen
  • Have a valid government-issued driver’s license, ID, or U.S. passport
  • Be able to commit to your set appointment time in our Mansfield, MA clinic!

The health and safety of our donors is our highest priority.

If you have any flu-like symptoms or have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 2 weeks, please give us a call at 774-265-1710 before arriving at your scheduled appointment so that we can talk to you about when it will be safe for you to donate.

Compensation

At Canventa Life Sciences, donors can earn up to $450 for a completed leukapheresis donation. Leukapheresis is a specialized blood donation procedure that takes up to four hours and is performed in a comfortable, clinical setting. During this process, white blood cells are collected to support groundbreaking medical research that advances treatments for cancer, autoimmune disorders, and other serious diseases. Each paid leukapheresis donation is by appointment only, and donors receive same-day compensation for their time and contribution to scientific discovery.

Referrals

Already a current Canventa Life Sciences donor? You can earn an extra $25 for every friend you refer who completes a paid blood donation with us. It’s easy—just have your friend mention your first and last name when they come in for their appointment. Every successful referral helps support medical research and gives you a little extra thank-you for spreading the word.

Please note: if it has been more than 6 months since your last donation, your infectious disease screening has expired and you’ll need to complete a new donor screening appointment to be eligible again.
